Forever Wood Pendant features a wood disk turned on a lathe and dyed black with a Forever Silver Charm and three metal beads. The leather cord is adjustable. By tugging on the two leather ends the pendant adjusts to the best length for comfort.
This pendant represents my initial designs when I began to explore wood jewelry. My wife would stop in every bead store when we would travel. Now, it is me leading the way into a bead store. I also have an extensive library of jewelry supply catalogs. Initially, making pendants I began to make bracelets and earrings. The promotional mail for Bead Shows have my name on the label. All of this is so embarrassing. I use many materials that include color pencils, acorns, seed pods, cinnamon sticks and resin to make these designs.
This style pendant is a great conversation pieces and will gain attention with any outfit.

Studio
These pendants as with all my jewelry is handmade by me in my studio in Montvale, NJ USA. I begin by shaping the disk on a wood lathe. This is my primary machine to make a form. It is capable of turning a large log into a piece of furniture and also accurate to make small jewelry. Once the form is made it goes to the workbench for assembly and finishing. It is not unusual the more time is spent on these secondary operations. It will take more than one hour to complete a piece like this.
