How To Take Care of Wood
Keep out of direct sunlight and minimize exposure to wide swings in humidity levels.
Never wash with water and if necessary use only a damp cloth
Wax lightly with a quality food safe wax or oil and buff to restore luster. I like beeswax or walnut oil.
Studio
I design and produce all my items in my studio in Montvale, NJ, USA. My primary tool is the wood lathe. It is here that the form and shape takes place. Once I accomplish this part of the project I take the piece to the workbench to complete secondary operations to refine the piece. This may include pyrography to add texture, stains and paints to add color.
