Airbrushed Oak Burl Bowl is a collaboration with insects. There was a time when I would throw away wood that was in this condition. Now I seek it out. My theory is that the uglier the wood log the more beautiful will be the finished bowl.
Airbrushed Oak Burl Bowl with dyes is handmade on a wood lathe. It features beautiful grain and colorful markings. The color dye brings out the incredible grain in Oak Burl. Signed on the bottom with my Alan Adler signature.

Care for a wood bowl
Keep out of direct sunlight and minimize exposure to wide swings in humidity levels
Do not wash with water, if necessary use only a damp cloth
Wax lightly with a quality food safe wax or oil and buff to restore the luster. I like beeswax, walnut oil or mineral oil.
