Wood Lego Man is 10 Times Scale. This 10 inches tall LEGO Man is a gift for my Grandson’s birthday. What kid would not want one? I want one.
Wood Lego Man is for my grandson Oliver who is currently into Lego’s as are many kids. There are eleven components making up this wood toy. I create the pieces on a wood lathe or at the studio bench. A variety of wood species make up this LEGO giant. All the joints articulate and he can assume a multiple of positions. The piece was not difficult to make once the time consuming part of drawing each individual piece to scale was complete. When it came time to assemble everything worked according to plan.
Birthday Gifts For Grandchildren
For every Grandchild birthday celebration I create something in wood to honor the event. It usually relates to a current interest. It is both challenging and stressful as each birthday approaches. I love the challenge and to see their expressions. Hope this tradition continues for many years. It is wonderful to see these birthday gifts displayed on shelves in their rooms. Studio
The design for Lego Man took many hours of paper planning and then working in my New Jersey studio to execute the piece. It usually takes several days to complete these birthday gifts as they can be a work in progress.
