

Charlotte’s Adirondack Chair
When a grandchild turns age two I make them a chair based on their interests. This is Charlotte’s Adirondack Chair . This Adirondack Style Chair is for Charlotte who loves music. This is the fourth of five chairs that I built. Charlotte is non stop movement and talking. She loves music, singing and dancing. Charlotte’s Adirondack Chair is all about music. The components are made on the bandsaw and the lathe. Each chair is challenging project and so enormous fun to make. T


Jack’s Adirondack Chair
This is Jack’s Adirondack Chair. For a grandchild’s second birthday they receive a theme chair. Jack is car crazy so this is his Adirondack chair. The piston and crankshaft legs, the headlights and side fenders are all fabricated on the wood lathe. This is the third special chair that I have made. Everyone is challenging and fun to make. The kids look forward to their second birthday to see what grandpa will come up with. I have a feeling these chairs will become family


Adirondack Tool Theme Chair
Child Size Adirondack Chairs At two years of age I create a theme chair for each grandchild. This is Oliver’s Adirondack Tool Theme Chair. He loves tools so guess what? This is a child size chair. It was honored with Second Place Award at the 2012 Adirondack Furniture and Accessories category at the Northeastern Woodworkers Association Showcase in Saratoga, NY. This is the second of five chairs that I have built. Oliver is a tool freak. He loves watching me on the lathe
