Rectangle Colored Pencil Pendant
Rectangular Colored Pencil Pendant
This is a one of a kind Rectangle Colored Pencil Pendant featuring a cross section of resin cast color pencils. The pattern is created by gluing the slices in different directions. This pendant is an inspiration from Tiffany and Frank Lloyd Wright windows. I fabricate thin slices of color pencils from the cast block to fit the pendant bezel. The colors are intense and these pendants are truly unique.
The dots that you see are the pencil points and the color line is the lead along the length of the pencil. The clear epoxy resin highlights and protects this unique piece of wood jewelry. The silver finish pendant size is 2 inches long by 1 1/4 inch wide and approximately 1/8 inch thick. It includes a 24 inch silver tone metal chain and lobster claw.
We often take words for granted. I use the word “Pendant” so often that I thought I it would be interesting to look up its history and meaning. Did you know that the word Pendant is from an ancient French word for hanging?
This will make a fashion statement and get attention when worn with any casual outfit. It is a great conversation piece as no one will initially identify the colored pencils.
This Rectangle Colored Pencil Pendant will make an exceptional Artist Gift and Teacher Gift. How about a birthday gift for that special person in your life?
