Handmade Wood Cuff
This is a one of a kind Large Wood Cuff Bangle of Birch wood.  It features pyrography which is a branding technique that one achieves by applying a red hot wire to the wood surface.  The wood burning decorative symbols are spirals and circles.  The large cuff features a copper patina finish to create the antiquity look.  When the bangle is not being worn it can be on display as a stand alone wood sculpture.
The inside diameter is 2 3/8 and the outside diameter is 4 1/4 inches. The height is 3 1/4 inches. This piece is a very unique one of a kind item. The best way to determine your size is by measuring a solid round bracelet you are comfortable wearing or make a paper tube that slides over you hand without flexing.
Pyrography Lesson
I have made mention of Pyrography a number of times here and other places.  It is a technique for drawing on wood with a hot iron or wire.  It is burning a mark onto the wood leaving a recess that creates an image.  When we were Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts we did wood burning with a tool that was not effective because of the low wattage.  Essentially it was a toy.  Professional Pyrography tools allow an artist to make incredible photo realist art.
