The wood is Maple with very unusual markings. This Wood bowl is perfect for fruits, salads, candy or just a display piece for the table. Care for your Butterfly Image Bowl
Keep out of direct sunlight
Minimize exposure to wide swings in humidity levels
Do not wash with water, if necessary use only a damp cloth
Wax lightly with a quality food save wax or oil and buff to restore the luster.  I like beeswax, walnut oil or mineral oil.
