Color Pencil Beech Platter
This Color Pencil Beech Platter is handmade on a wood lathe.  The Beech wood features a rim of color pencils embedded in clear food safe resin.  The wood exhibits beautiful grain and incredible markings from growth near the center of the tree.  The squiggly lines are growth rings which are added one at a time each year.  The dark lines a hard wood aged growth near the center of the tree.
Imagine this gorgeous Color Pencil Beech Platter filled with apples and oranges on your kitchen table. This platter is perfect candies or any utilitarian need.  Picture it on your dining room table as a great table centerpiece. It is food safe.
The size is 12 3/4 inch diameter x 2 1/2 inches high.

Care for your Beech Platter
Keep out of direct sunlight and minimize exposure to wide swings in humidity levels
To clean, do not soak with water, if necessary use only a damp cloth
To restore the luster wax lightly with a quality food safe wax or oil and buff.  I like beeswax, walnut oil or mineral oil.
