Walnut Colored Pencil Vase
This stunning Walnut Colored Pencil Vase has a row of inlay of colored pencils around the top rim.  I carve a recess into the top edge and hand place color pencils into that cavity.  The pencils are sealed in food safe clear epoxy.  These colored pencils add a great deal of uniqueness and character truly make this a one of a kind piece.
I turned this piece on a wood lathe and finished over many days on the studio bench.  The voids are filled with blue resin ..The size is 4 inch diameter by  2 1/2 inches high.  My artist signature is on the base.  This Walnut Colored Pencil Vase will make a great display piece in your home that will compliment any home decor especially one of an art collector.  If you are considering to build a collection of Wood Art this is an excellent piece to start.

Care for your Walnut Pencil Vase
Keep out of direct sunlight
Minimize exposure to wide swings in humidity levels
Do not wash with water, if necessary use only a damp cloth
Wax lightly with a quality food safe wax or oil and buff to restore the luster.  I like beeswax, walnut oil or mineral oil.
