Bent Wood Bracelet
This is a Coiled Elm Wood Bracelet.  I am able to process wood so that it can be coiled and bent in a tight radius without snapping.  This Bracelet has three coils.  The finished bangle maintains a high degree of flexibility.  It is not fragile and will not break under normal handling conditions. Do not be concerned about wearing it every day if that is what you would like to do.  Artist signature on the inside, Alan Adler, that’s me. The inside diameter is 2 5/8 inches and the outside diameter is 3 1/4 inches. The thickness is 1/4 of an inch. Three coils add up to 2 inches.

My Journey
I began making Wood Jewelry in 2010.  This process of bending wood is a new direction from my initial color pencil theme.  What I find so exciting about the creative process is that just doing something often leads to new ideas. Constant probing will not allow a creative block to take hold.
