Blue Paperweight and Bottle Opener
Blue Paperweight and Bottle Opener all in one.  No more problems looking for that ugly bottle opener your wife stuck in a drawer you would never look in. Large enough not to get lost and pretty enough to be left on display.  This utilitarian all in one blue paperweight can sit on your desk and the bottle opener is nice enough to leave out all the time. I turn and form the hemispherical shape on the wood lathe.  It features pyrography symbols and color stain. Pyrography is a branding technique where the symbols are cut into the wood surface with a red hot wire.  The bottle opener features a heavy gauge stainless steel plate which sits in a recess at the bottom of the paperweight.
The size is 3 1/2 inch diameter x 2 1/4 inches high.

Minimize exposure to wide swings in humidity levels
Do not wash with water, if necessary use only a damp cloth
Wax lightly with a quality food safe wax or oil and buff to restore the luster.  I like beeswax, walnut oil or mineral oil.
