Allan Adler Bracelet Holder

Allan Adler Bracelet Vases

These Allan Adler Bracelet Vases are a collaboration of sorts with a famous silversmith from Los Angeles, California.  Allan Adler was known as the jeweler to the Stars.  We are not relatives, but the first time I saw one of his bracelets I knew that we had to collaborate.  I could not get his permission as he already passed.  These Modernist Sterling Silver bracelets are from the 1930’s to the 1950’s.  They are simple and elegant flat sided circles with hard edges.  I turn my wood vase and cut a recess to friction fit the bangle tight to the wood so the vase appears to have a silver inlay.  I try to buy them whenever they come to market through purchase or auction.

My wood vase can be a keepsake for small jewelry items and a display stand for these wonderful bangles. I often wonder how Allan would feel about this collaboration and my Allan Adler Bracelet Vases. I can only hope that he would be happy with my effort.

Gift Ideas

I began to make jewelry a few year after I began my woodturning journey. Starting with pendants I then moved to bracelets, bangles, earrings, cufflinks, brooches and pins. Should you be searching for a unique gift and do not see it in my website store then take a look at my Etsy Shop.

Studio

Studio I design all my items in my studio in Montvale, New Jersey USA. My primary tool is the wood lathe to create the form. Once the form is complete it requires additional work at the workbench. This may take as much time as it did to make the shape. A shop teacher said to me that there are no shortcuts to finishing. Put in the time and work and the results will show.
